BOTOX® Cosmetic (Botulinum toxin) can be used to soften and treat facial frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet. It works by temporarily disabling the muscles that create facial lines. Therapeutic BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments have been in use since 1980. It is FDA approved for medical and cosmetic procedures, and has been safely administered to patients of all ages.

BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment is done during a regular office visit, with no downtime (ask about our Lunch-Time procedure times).

This simple in office procedure produces minimal discomfort. Improvement in facial lines is generally seen within a few days. It is most beneficial for the treatment of lines caused by overactive muscles of the forehead, in between the eyebrows (frown lines) and crow’s feet (eye area).

BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments generally persist for 4-6 months and can be repeated as necessary. Over time, treated areas will last for longer periods of time.
