Buchi McCrea is a certified physician assistant at Northwest Georgia Dermatology and Skin Cancer Specialists. She assists in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of general dermatologic diseases including acne, psoriasis, rosacea, warts, and eczema.
Buchi grew up in Southern California, and attended the University of California, Riverside, where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Buchi then went on to earn a Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies from Barry University in Miami, FL.
She is board-certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and scored in the 97th percentile on the certifying examination. She is also fully licensed by the Medical Board of Georgia.
She holds membership in a number of professional organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Georgia Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants.
She enjoys running, reading, and exploring the arts and culture that Atlanta has to offer.
